I am so thrilled to welcome you to this 2nd edition of the NewKid Days! I can’t wait to meet you all in person!
Here are some details to help you plan ahead.
When
Doors are open to the public [= you need to be here 🙃] : Sunday, October 25, from 10am to 3pm
Setup starts at 8:00am that day. Please be there early so you have time to get your stuff ready!
Wrap up : Sunday, 3pm onwards

Every spot has direct access to power outlets. Haven’t assigned the different spots yet, I’ll update this page when it is all ready!

High speed wifi : 2Gbps bandwidth up and down, 18 access points throughout the space.

any device you need to display your product (we won’t provide any) ; better if they come fully loaded :)
any decor, giveaways, furniture that would help showcase what you do / who you are
there won’t be any wall to hang stuff on, so if you really need a roll-up banner, bring it along, as long as it’s not the boring /corporate type (eyes on you)
a cofounder or two / friends who know how to talk about your product with as much enthusiasm as you do
your best smile and highest energy!!!
Make it fun, make it yours
We’ve talked about it, this space is a unique opportunity to get your most creative selves out there, don’t waste it ! Make it playful, colourful, well just HAVE FUN, GO WILD.

Pitch session
We’ll have two pitch sessions on the main stage :
11:30am : 5 companies
2.10pm : 6 companies
Each startup will have 2 min pitch + 3 min Q&A.
The order in which you will go will be communicated to you in a few days.
Make sure to be as specific & straight to the point as possible 😎:
your product
why it matters
who you are (if relevant)
what progress you’ve done (if relevant)
what you need : fundraising, child safety expertise, beta testers, hires,..
There is no need for a presentation. 2min go really fast, better have you fully engaging with the audience :)
