Meet Mathilde

I am a mom of two, aged 5 and 7. I have spent 10 years in the trenches of startups — co-founding Krak, the world’s biggest skatespots database, from its early days in LA through Techstars Boulder and into international markets (incl. shipping thousands of subscription boxes on 3 continents) then Objet, a creative venture turning live events into wearable memories. I know what it takes to build something real from nothing, and I am now applying that to what I believe is the most urgent conversation of our time: raising children in the age of AI.

NewKid is a podcast and a newsletter for parents trying to raise children in a world that keeps changing faster than the rulebook. The tension I kept coming back to: school is outdated, AI is a paradigm shift, and the stakes could not be higher because - damn - these are our kids we’re talking about. Navigating this alone can’t be an option.

NewKid is now also a biannual gathering - Paris | San Francisco - designed for those who want to think more deeply and act more intentionally about how we are raising our children.
