Some conversations are too important to stay online. Which is why the NewKid Days exist: a biannual gathering - Paris | San Francisco - at the crossroads of parenting, education, and AI, designed for those who want to think more deeply and act more intentionally about how we are raising our children.

NewKid Day’s first edition will be the biggest event about raising children in the age of AI - a burning topic that will just keep on growing, and without much offer yet. 350m2 at VivaTech on June 20, 2026 organised by serial-entrepreneur Mathilde (and mom of 2!), with amazing guest speakers from around the world.

The mission

Right now, the conversation about AI and children is mainly happening in two places: high-level policy summits, and complex - or else extensive - academic reports. Both are important. None of them truly is accessible to parents nor feels connected to our everyday realities.

The opportunities to genuinely engage with these questions are scarce, and the questions themselves could not be more important. We are raising the next generation of citizens and decision-makers. Who do we want them to be? What role should technology play in shaping them?

A unique positioning

This is an event celebrating children : where they are seen, heard and empowered.

Some activities will be done as a family, others: adults and children will have their own unique space, invited into the same conversations, just through their own unique lens.

Thus creating an unforgettable family experience to (re)connect and leave the day (re)enchanted to build the future we are dreaming about.

Three pillars

Learn alongside the most brilliant and passionate practitioners, a mix of public figures and outsiders.
Format ⇒ keynotes and panels for adults exploring topics like “apprendre à apprendre”, “moi et les autres” or “the role of the teacher”. Meanwhile children will have their own discussion circles — thus learning how to phrase what’s important for them and collaborating with others — and then share back together.
Expand (your horizons) alongside families, educators and schools exploring different paths.
Format ⇒ video & IRL testimonials to inspire [building a plane - wait, what?], open the mind, expand the possibilities of what raising children could be.
Play alongside experts at crafting unforgettable moments.
Format ⇒ AI exploration activities, awareness workshops, book signings, a writing workshop, a rave party.

The promise

I want to create an unforgettable time for families : I want them to feel welcome (at any age), present, listened to, empowered to build tomorrow. I want parents to feel connected with their children and vice versa. I want to help shift the mindset from passive to active, I want them to bring back pieces of that event back home.

Meanwhile, I want to create an unforgettable time for speakers, too : I want them to come with their families, stay and hang out for a while, connect with one another and with the public.

There will be insights, emotions, connections, all at once.

NewKid’s first edition is taking place at VivaTech, on June 20, 2026. I will have a 350m2 dedicated space to make it happen, expecting hundreds of families - I am beyond excited to share this opportunity, so that you too can be a part of it !
